The FDA has not approved hCG for weight loss.  They do not say it is bad for you;  they just have not approved it.  They have not approved an over-the-counter version of hCG.  The comments in this website are based upon customer's responses.  You may decide for yourself if you want to try hCG for weight loss.

The hCG diet is not new -- it was developed in 1954 -- but it has greatly improved.  Previously, injections were required every day.  Now, the hCG is taken orally and absorbed by the tongue (sublingually).  Also, several food options are available that were not available in 1954.

Do not try this diet without using the hCG supplement -- you will burn muscle (e.g., your heart) instead of excess fat.

 

Do not try this diet without being under the supervision of a doctor -- the weight loss is rapid and must be monitored.

 

Do not use low quality hCG.  Cheap hCG is animal based, not human based, and is not homeopathic.

 

 

Getting Started

 

This diet is not as difficult as it looks;  however, it must be followed as written, or it won't work.

Identify necessary supplies (you can gain weight from the fat in most shampoos).

 

Many of the supplies are available at Dr. Hank's office.

Download and save the file on your computer, and update the green area daily.  (When you click on the "download" link, you'll get an option to "open" or "save" the file.  You must save the file on your computer, and then open it with Excel.)

Start your diet by taking the drops 30 minutes before each meal (3 times daily).  Take the drops for 2 days before starting the diet.  It is essential that you eat heartily for the first 2 days;  dieting during this time is not healthy.

 

Place 10 drops under your tongue and hold them there for at least 5 minutes.  The hCG is absorbed sublingually.   If you immediately swallow the hCG, it will not work.  Please note the links speak of injections -- this diet was developed in 1954, and drops were not available at that time.

After 2 days of taking the drops, begin the 500 calorie diet.  Continue to take the drops 3 times a day, 30 minutes prior to the meal.  Meals should be as follows:

 

Breakfast: Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours.  Saccharin or Stevia may be used.
Lunch

1.    100 grams (3.5 ounces) of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp.  All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed from the bird.

2.    One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.

3.     One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast.

4.    An apple, orange, or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit.

Dinner The same four choices as lunch (above).
